I have the SMC EtherEZ (ISA) card. I know that under the net
modules, smc-ultra.o is supposed to work for the EtherEZ. On
boot, Linux says it's "delaying initialization of eth0" (which I have
set to the SMC Ultra), then [ FAILED ] next to that... When I try
"ifconfig smc-ultra" or "ifconfig eth0", it tries to init the card at
address 0x12c. The card is PnP for Win98, but Win98 has it's
addy range set to 0240 - 025F with an IRQ of 11. Anyways, when
it tries to init the card, it says no such device. I know it's there
because I'm on a cable modem and am using it right now through
W98.
