Acer I think - 18x and ATAPI

Functioned A1 under redhat 5.2 and win95 (still does under this 
last!)

The Linux version is 2.2.9-19mdk which arived 2/3 days ago on the 
Mandrake 6 disk. I presume this is the most recent kernel on 
Mandrakes distribution.
