[expert] kernel-2.2.9-27mdk.i586.rpm?

[B&B Access Technology]

Anyone out there willing share any tips on installing
kernel-2.2.9-27mdk.i586.rpm? I have tried doing the upgrade twice now
with no luck, just end up blowing everything away and having to start
over.
