There is no special option in e2fsck to replace the superblock.

If the primary superblock is corrupted you can direct e2fsck to
use an alternate superblock using the -b option. The superblock
normally is repeated every 8192 blocks. So the correct syntax is

e2fsck -b 8193 /dev/hda5
or
e2fsck -b 16385 /dev/hda5
and so on.

If an alternative superblock is specified and the filesystem is not
opened read-only, e2fsck will make sure  that  the primary
superblock  is  updated  appropriately  upon  completion of the
filesystem check. (cited from the e2fsck manual page)
