Hi DJ,
well basically I've put it on hold for now - 3-4 hours has got me
stumped, so I'm going to take a break for a bit =] basically as far as I can
tell I need (g?)libc.4 libraries installed, plus I need something that needs
the 2.0.x glibc stuff, so I'm trying to see if I can get a work around
going - if something is compiled with 2.1.x is it backward compat. with
2.0.x ???
I'm still relatively new to linux (been reasonably full on for 1-2
months, plus another 3-4 just playing with it) but am getting frustrated
with some of the documentation =[ people to people knowledge is _excellent_
and this is the third or fourth place I'll go for help (man / howtoo's / irc
/ here) purely because I've got to wait for an answer =] (I don't have that
much time for 'home' linux, and so I've got to fit my time with linux into
whatever free time I've got).
I'll be doing some more searching a bit later on ... I'll post results
(if any) to here...
Zak
