Try to digit
single
at the lilo boot prompt, an if don't works try
to use loadlin instead of lilo:
loadlin vmlinuz root=/dev/hdXY single
where XY is the leter and the number of partition
contenets / root directory.
then you have a root session and you cab change
root password with linuxconf.
If none of two before works try to download from

DOWNLOAD-frame
fs2explorer (or similar) with that you can read from
ext2 partition by windows the shadows password file
manage it and re-write it (you have to abilitate the
write option in progs)
