Yes is it possible for now. KDE has it's own window manager, but from
now 
Entlightenment is KDE aware (I mean from cvs). It is just cool that same
time 
you can have a KDE and a gnome panel running. Check out the
www.enlightenment.org or
you can see screenshot there or mandrake.net (codev of E). If you wanna
use of
this new feature you have to get a source from cvs. Check the website.

Huu... It is a gnome-session not JUST icons... (gmc)
