Generally speaking, you don't need to. It should take care
of that by itself. Although you can go get a "defrag" util
off FreshMeat or something. What I've heard is that Linux
pretty much takes care of that sort of thing on it's own
and is MUCH more intelligent about how it writes things to
disk than Windows.
