I got this video chipset (Compaq Armada 1750) to work under both
Mandrake 6.0 and 6.1 with little issue - it is based on the Chips &
Technologies 65555 chipset. Use the generic SVGA Xserver and select your
LCD accordingly. Mine runs 1024x768x32 and looks awesome.....
Can't comment on the sound system...
