I hope I can rely on you for some questions on mail-files.
I know about the /var/spool/mail/username (you forgot the mail directory
;-) )

I see in my home directory lots of mail directories:
-nsmail : this one is created by Netscape?
-ns-imap :
-in another home directory I do find different subdirectories like Sent,
Inbox etc...
-Mail : created by pine?

Anyways: Do you have any idea how I can setup my Linux box - and how that is
related to clients.

I am using imap (at home) and netscape client on a Windoze box.
I use imap because my family can use any network connected PC and still have
access to their mail - which is never downloaded to local Windoze boxes.
When I last started Netscape it found about every file and directory in my
son's home directory. And this was not what I wanted to do:
I only wanted to have the mail-directories, appearing in the Netscape client
(setup as imap).

Any directions are welcome,
Thanks
Herman
