I purchased a copy of Mandrake about 3 months ago.
I successfully managed to install this on a PC whose BIOS supports CDROM boot.
Recently I thought I'd put it onto an older PC. Spec:
Cyrix 486 DLC 33 MHZ processor
8 MBytes DRAM
Maths coprocessor (Weitek?)
The external device controller is not built onto the motherboard. Plugs into an ISA
slot.
There is an external ISA Trident 1MB VGA video card.
The following are detected and reported by Linux install image from CDROM
