I just noticed that if I switch from my X session to another virtual
console (via ctrl-alt-F2, for example) ALT+F7 no longer returns me to my
X session. Instead, I am presented with a plain black screen which
appears to be console-like in that mouse movement activates gpm. After
about 10 seconds of "oh crap" and fiddling around I found my X session
on virtual console 8.
When did this change? Where is it docuemnted? Did it not change and
something else changed in Mandrake 6.1? I'm running with the 3.3.5-3mdk
build of xfree, the shipped one!
