I am sorry to hear anyone thinking 50$/hr is high for a GOOD technical
support. I do not know how is it in the USA, but in the europe a company
has to pay as much to the state & insurance, as it pays to the workers.
Even if you consider a 100% utilisation and no profit, that would mean
that the guy on the tech-desk gets only 25$/hour for dealing with your
problems. Realistically it would be even below 20$. I do not consider this
a highly payed job.
