I remember well the early days of AOL and the internet. I learned then on
Windows 95, Windows 3.1 and even MAC OS 7.1 & 7.5, AOL does its own socket
programming. In fact, after using AOL with early versions of windows, people
would be calling me to say that their Windows Internet stuff didn't work. Why
not? Simple. the AOL Winsock.dll had replaced the "real" one and not been
swapped back when AOL exited.
Therefore, I would suggest you contact the folks at TWIN to see if they have
facilities to handle the AOL special winsock.dll. WINE's current version will
not handle it.
