[expert] upgrade problem via ftp or http

I have problem when upgrading 6.0 to 6.1 via ftp or http.
Computer is Pentium 133MHz, 48MRAM, 6GB IDE disk partitioned to 3x2M, the third
partition is mandrake 6.0, started via LILO from masterboot record.
When starting upgrade using bootnet.img, the load of hdlist is done and after
that is an error message that cannot mount existing linux partition !

Any hints?
