My mouse pointer will vanish every now and then and, up until now, I
haven't been able to figure out under what circumstances. I figured it was
when some process was hogging memory because the computer always froze up
before this happened but couldn't be sure because, of course, I couldn't
run top when the computer was frozen... I've no idea how to fix it and
would also appreciate any input on the subject.
