On mini hubs, the last connection plug can also be used for an "uplink"
connection. If the uplink switch is thrown, the device plugged into that
port cannot be seen by the rest of the network.
if the last two ports on the hub have an "x" drawn between them,then
usually the device plugged into the last port can see only the device
plugged into the port right next to it. For this kind of hub, leave the
last port empty, unless it it plugged into another hub. In that case,
leave the next to last port empty.
