Well, I read the "manpage" and the help-file on ipchains,
but I"m doing something wrong, I know. Whenever I try to
create a "rule" for an IPchain, it says "Try `ipchains -h'
or 'ipchains --help' for more information".
I'm wanting to create a rule to block ALL traffic from a
certain domain (doubleclick.net, to be honest! <G>)
I know there are people who feel IP chains should NOT be
used for this purpose, but I'm tired of banner ads slowing
down my web surfing. They have gotten so
bandwidth-intensive these days that they slow down the page
loading. I mean, by the time you get a page loaded you may
have had to view 8 or 10 banner ads! That's just TOO much
for me! I refuse to let capitalism slow down my web
surfing! :-)
