I had to link termcap.h from /usr/include/ncurses to
~/parted-1.0.0/parted before it would "make" (and yes - I did nave
ncurses-devel installed - thanx Denis) but when I kick off the program it
cores (seg fault), telling me that the OS thinks my drive geometry is
839/240/63 and that I need to check the BIOS to insure that it matches.

Sadly, the system I use is a laptop, and the drive parameters are
not configurable - they are "hard" set at 13422/15/63. I'm guessing that if
I pass that to LILO the system will not boot??? I will try this as time
permits (but not likely till next year!)

Cheers - party safe, everyone!
Don
PS - loaded 7.0 on my dual 550 - installed/runs well, but is _very_ bloated
(over 700MB)! C'mon guys - give us a "stripped" install option! It puked
when trying to start X on my Diamond G460 - but I recovered and ran
XF86Setup and it works flawlessly. I may try to "upgrade" my 6.1 laptop -
but it's running so well I hate to mess with a good thing!
