I tried "upgrading" a L-M 6.1 machine
with the "L-M 7.0 beta oxygen" rpms. This was
the item by item method usually done by those with
slower connections. I had a fast connection but
a very "slow brain". :>) Basically everything seems
to be working but all the new security enhancements
will take awhile, and again I am having a heck
of a time getting IP Masq working inspite of checking
all the "usual suspects".
Unfortunately at this time Enlightenment is giving me
all those dang errors of "missing elemets" it used
to give with the early 6.1 releases. I hope its just
me and not another glitch to make people mistrust "E".
The 'enlightenment-0.16.3-1' non-Mandrake rpm I installed
on this 6.1 machine is performing flawlessly, though I
mostly use XFCE anyway.
