        Hi all!
        I'v faced a strange pbl with X.
The plb is, whan i try to start some suided program i have message like this:
for example i do $su and try to run some prog wich must be run from root.

billy@dima 11:23:14 /$ su
Password:
root@dima 11:23:20 /# printtool
Xlib: connection to "unix:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
Application initialization failed: couldn't connect to display "unix:0.0"
-------the error is above this line---------------------------------------
Couldn't load bindings.tcl
Start from control-panel or set environment variable
CONTROL_PANEL_LIB_DIR to the control-panel library dir.
(normally this is /usr/lib/rhs/control-panel)

Or suided mtvp for fullscreen mode shows this:

billy@dima 11:29:55 mpegs$ ls /usr/X11/bin/mtvp
-rwsr-sr-x 1 root root 732084 7 13:32 /usr/X11/bin/mtvp

billy@dima 11:26:58 mpegs$ mtvp -df xxx.mpeg
You must be root to set a fullscreen mode
mtvp: cannot use fullscreen
mtvp: You must be root (or mtvp must be set-uid root) to use fullscreen
mtvp: For set-uid root, become root and use the following commands:
mtvp: $ chown root mtvp; chmod +s mtvp
mtvp: Then restart the program and try again...
mtvp: Note: set-uid programs may create security holes
mtvp: and should not be used (unless necessary) on secured systems
mtvp: For details, read the README-Fullscreen file.

But it runs whan i start X as root and it run whan i used RedHat 6.1 and
startted it as normal user (the mtvp binary was suided)

I suppouse the pbl lies in X itself.
        Billy.
