Hi, I've just upgraded my Mandrake-6.1 to Mdk-7.0.
It seems very good (installation, configuration tools,
automount, ...) but I've two little troubles:
1) It's very loud. If I start kde+netscape it uses all RAM (160 MB)
and every new application is very slow. If I try to convert
the Mandrake user manual to postscript the system is frozen for
one hour.
2) In 6.1 i was using my tv-card using bttv (launching the bttv-script
"upgrade" and kwintv ).
Now kudzu has been able to recognize the card but, if I launch
"upgrade", it says "the kernel is not modular" and stops and
kwintv doesn't work.
Can I see Tv without recompiling the kernel?
bye, Andrea
