I have just come across a peculier problem. As root (setup and configuration
tasks), I used kppp to login to my ISP. Never have I ever had a problem. I have
now logged into my system as a regular user, and when I start kppp, it tells me
that the kernel does not have ppp compiled into the kernel and/or it is not
using insetable modules. The fact is, that both cases are not true. And if I
press on the ok button, kppp still continues with the call to my ISP and
connects successfully. Why would this be happening?
