[expert] Upgrading KDE in Mandrake?

Is there any problem with using the KDE in Mandrake 6.1 to upgrade me
to 1.1.2 (I'm running 1.1.1 on Mandrake 6.0)? Or would I be better
served just upgrading everything to Mandrake 6.1? I'm happy with my
system, I just want to upgrade KDE so I can have the latest and best
of everything in KDE! :-)
Also, is there a good IDENT daemon that's recommended for use in
Mandrake? I was trying to sign onto IRC this evening and kept getting
K-lined for not responding to an IDENTD request!
