After having (successfully!) tried to install MC package from RH6.1 cd , i
downloaded the RPMS of MC of AIR, and when I compiled i enabled GPM mouse
support with
./configure --with-gpm-mouse
Then i did "make" and "make install"
After compiling MC says mouse support in X11 and GPM.
BUT IT STILL DOESN'T WORK! :-D
MC works, but mouse pointer is still not-interactive.
I also tried to put the path to gpm (as suggested in the file
"INSTALL-FAST" in the build directory of MC) but it still doesn't work.
So I reinstalled using the mc package from RH6.2beta (it's version 4.5.42-6
instead of 4.5.42-4 and it should not create problems with GMC, that
requires a version >= 4.5.42-4 )
I hope to find an updated MC package for MDK in the /updates directory soon!
(I don't like the idea to "contaminate" my 7.0 with beta [even if perfectly
working] packages)
