How do I get rpc.mountd to bind to specific ports? mountd -p (or --port) nnn always gives me a cannot bind name to address error. i've tried w/ nfsd running and not running. i've even tried putting the -p in the init.d/nfs script. no luck. it will work w/o specifiing the port, but it cycles through ports 600 - 1024, so i can't put any specific rules in my firewall script... thanx, Bill -- William Ahern MIS, JINSA --------------------- JINSA Online http://www.jinsa.org/ ---------------------
