Brian,

I just installed cdrecord 1.8 and then xcdroast and it's working
fine. I first uninstalled the default rpm's from 6.1. As a test
I burned a copy of some windows clipart cd, and it worked just
fine. I have a Ricoh 7060S CDR/RW and a NEC 465. (both scsi,
internal, via a 2940 Adaptec) Btw, I tried the older versions
of cdrecord and xcdroast that came installed with Mandrake 6.1
and they didn't work. Just thought you might be interested!

Regards,

Dana
