Bill&Virginia....since TiMidity++-2.5.1-2mdk.i586.rpm is on your
Mandrake 6.1 distribution cd then why would you need to download
it? In fact, are you sure it wasn't installed when you did your
original installation? Also there is an associated package
called timidity-instruments-1.0-1mdk.noarch.rpm on your cd that
also should have been installed. It is needed for playing midi
files as well. Anyway, to get netscape to play midi files
embedded in a web page you need to install a plug-in like
plugger or ump in addition to timidity.
