Unsurprising that the graphical installer did not come up.  My older, less
capable systems don't, and then they come up in 16 color mode after the CD is
initialized.

I have had this error burning CDs at 4X and 2X for OLDER drives.  Burning at 1X
seems to have cured it though it means I have to find something to do for a
while while waiting for the burn.
