Nevermind. Here is the correct setup for a Microsoft Intellimouse:

XF86Config:

Section "Pointer"
    Protocol    "IMPS/2"
    Device      "/dev/psaux"
    Buttons     3
    ZAxisMapping 4 5
EndSection

Then drop 'imwheel &' or 'imwheel -k &' somewhere (kde autostart folder,
autostart script for Window Maker, etc) so that it'll start up.
