Here's the pointer section for my XF86Config, which works quite well
with my MS Intellimouse:

Protocol "IMPS/2"
Device "/dev/psaux"
ZAxisMapping 4 5
I usually load imwheel on boot, since so many programs don't listen for
buttons 4 and 5. Works reliably for me.
