Your hdparm is too "aggressive." Your hard drive/controller can't deal with
that level of HD access "optimization." It may be the default optimization.

I've never used that, but am making this comment based on nearly a year of
reading this list. My suggestion -- go to the archives of this list and look
for two things: "lost interrupt" and "hdparm." In there you should find the
answers.
