Just downloaded the ISO for M7.0 and burned a copy to a CD-R.

I'm able to mount the cdrom on my ix86/Linux workstation
and view everything correctly.

When i boot my UltraSparc 1/170 from the CDrom, i get the SILO menu, and I
hit enter.

I get the normal kernel bootup,  until the line:
fb0: Creator at 000001fc00000000 type 8 DAC 10

then it skips down 15 or so lines, and the cursor sits there.

If i press ctrl-ScrollLock, the kernel task list prints out, and instantaneously I
am able to see the text that was printed out 'invisibly' in the 15 previous lines.

I now can view the fatal error/ kernel panic which halted the system:

raid5: using high-speed VIS checksum routine
esp0: IRQ3,7e0 SCSI ID 7 Clk 40Mhz CCF=8 TOut 167 NCR53C9XF (espfast)
IRQ: Trying to share non-PCI bucket
Kernel panic: Cannot acquire ESP irq line
Press L1-A to return to the boot prom

i can't seem to get around this error, and I unfortunately don't have a floppy disk
to try to boot from.

Any suggestions I could try?

Thanks,

Leif
