Did you configure a LAN???

X windows REQUIRES some sort of Networking setup, even if it is a
"loopback".

If you did not enable LAN support, X will never come up.

In second stage install

_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: can't connect: errno = 111

/proc

You may safely reboot your system

I really don't know what to do anymore. I already borrowed another
videocard. A stealth S220 from diamond. I also switched my memory simms into
other slots.

can somebody please tell me what to do?! I getting sick of windows, and I
really want to give Linux a try.

Thanks.
