Ummm... sure :)
edit /etc/lilo.conf
specify like... vga=0x317...
Basically whatever number you used in decimal (Should be probably in the
600's or above) convert to hexadecimal and put it there.
Make sure you run 'lilo' after making this change.

Subject: [expert] question about LILO
I'm using LILO when I boot up my system, and it uses the vga=ask line it it
for setting the consoles video mode. However, when it asks I can either
type in 0-6 to use one of the presets (all of which are 80 column) or I can
type the word scan, which gives me additional options (one of which is
100x30)...
However, I cannot set LILO to use any of those additional options without
performing the scan. Does anyone know of a way to use one of those
additional video modes without having to use vga=ask and then typing 'scan'
upon bootup to set it?
thanx!
