Yes....sorta. It somewhat depends on which UPS you're using
(brand/model.) They are somewhat brand & model specific on
the messages they send out on the serial port. I don't
bother (yet) as this isn't a "production" environment. I
*might* be concerned if it were a money-making system. :-)
