Hope this helps. From your windows box open a dos window and type
tracert (Bill can't spell traceroute) and then any website you can think of
without the www in front (example tracert microsoft.com ) The first line
that comes back at you will give you the IP number and the domain name of
the gateway you are using at your ISP. Even though your IP number changes
you still call the same machine each time you dial so the gateway should be
consistent.
