[expert] Sendmail Transfer

Hello,
I'm running sendmail on a Linux box {Caldera}. 

I'm using Sendmail on a dedicated mail server running Caldera. I 
would like to transfer the mail services to a new box running all the
latest stuff (either Mandrake, RedHat).

Questions:
(Besides configuring the NIC on the new box)
1. What system files do I need to bring over to the new box?

2. What files do I need to edit, if any?

3. What Sendmail related files do I need to transfer to the new box 
and or edit?

In the end I just want to boot up the new box and have it take over 
as mail server.
