This HP has an IDE CD-ROM (Creative Infra 52) , and during install, it
asked for the 'Ext' CD, but did not eject the install CD..
The button of the CD drive was also inoperative.
I had to hit CANCEL, and it did not create many of the icons, did not
install some stuff from the install CD, even..
Likewise, on IBM Thinkpad, same thing - did not eject the install CD,
the button was inoperative. I used the manual 'hole' on the cd drive
to eject the CD, inserted the ext CD, but installation froze..
