I guess I better hang my head in shame.... :(
I added 'noauth' to the ppp arguments in KPPP and everything works fine now. I
seen this fix several times in this list but the people describing their
problems didn't seem to fit the problem I was having, so I never checked it out.
Works like a champ now.. :-) Gad I feel dumb.
