Matt and Hoyt,

Hooray!! - I fixed my problem!

I first tried changing the 'boot' line to: "boot=/dev/hda", but that
still gave me the same error. I then completely removed the "other"
section concerning the floppy disk, and that did the trick. (I'm
still leaving the 'boot' line as /dev/hda.)

As far as what fdisk reports on /dev/hda - remember the ol' saying: If
it ain't broke, don't fix it... So I'll leave it be for now, as
Linux has no other problems with the drive. Since I have a fairly new
BIOS, it's pretty lenient as to what it sees as drive 1. After I read
the Large-Drive HOWTO, I've learned that Linux has no problems with a
6.6 GB drive.

I appreciate ya'll helping me out.
Thanks!!
Scott Boyd
