Hey, I'm running mandrake 7.1 and most of the time that i try to install a RPM package, whether it be in mandrake update or w/ the rpm command, it will act as if it is stuck in an infinite loop. The RPM is never installed, and I have to boot my computer b/c it brings it to a halt, I can't move the mouse, type or do anything, and I can't even login in remotely to unmount the filesystems before i have to hit reset. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what was your solution to fix it? Should i just downgrade my rpm version or what?
