Under KDE while using "Forte for Java" (a Java IDE written in 100% Java included with the 7.1 Deluxe distribution), every keypress "x" results in "META" + "x". Using Borland's JBuilder (100% Java) I have the same problem. JBuilder worked flawlessly in Mandrake 7.0. MOUSE clicks are also affected. This does not happen under Gnome! This does not happen in any other app. I'm using a PC without a META key. I've tried three different Java Virtual Machines. I've tried re-installing the software. I've tried different keyboards. I've tried adjusting my X configuration. I've tried xmodmap. How do I suppress (filter out) a keycode? Am I looking at this from the wrong angle? Any help would be appreciated. Pelon
