It's not just you.
The problem is the lack of a domain name in the "From" field in his mail
client's config file. I have a NT server e-mail me a report on a daily basis.
The systems admin who set the e-mail client up on the NT sever neglected to
fill-in the "From" field completely when setting it up, so what happens now is
the first *nix box that relays the e-mail tacks it's FQDN onto the from string.
It's amusing to me to recieve e-mails from an application that will "never" run
on a Linux box with a from address indicating that it's coming from a Red-Hat
server.
The dupe loop is somebody else's problem.
Muzza.
