If you have a standard PC with some HD space around, the best way I
would
guess, would be to install a _minimal_ PC Linux (Mandrake or
otherwise)
on it, then use it for FTP install on your Sun's (with your Sparc
Linux CD).
Shooting from the hip I would estimate that a minimal PC Linux install
would need between 150 and 200 MB.
Even better, there _are_ some distributions that DON'T require you
to install ANYTHING on the hard disk, you simply boot from a floppy
and install on a ramdisk in memory.

So, if you can have the use of a PC for the time it takes to install
(I'd say one or two hours) your problem is solved ...
