Hi everybody,
I don't know if this has been discussed before. But
whenever I install RPM's, they take about 2 hours to install. And they
usually don't even install. When I install them (either from Kpackage, or
from command line) they make my hard drive grind like mad. After about 1-2
hours of this, X seems to die, and I'm back at GDM to login. I don't know
why it does this. It didn't happen before I reinstalled Mandrake.
Anybody have ANY ideas?
