Hi everyone,

Just a short note to express some cool commands I've found..

"findchip" ----> will print out your IRDA chipset information!!!

"lspci -vv > myfile" ----->prints out a ton of info on your hardware and
puts it into a file called "myfile" in the current directory, omit the ">
myfile" if you want it just printed to screen.

It's really hard to find good detailed info on a laptop's hardware, so
these really helped. Also, don't forget about "/var/log/XFree86.0.log"
which will list even more hardware details on your video card and the
chipset of your LCD and/or monitor! Where else would you find that out?!

Hope it helps!
