My Shaw@home just changed IP on me. It used to be 4.5.6.7.ab.wave.home.com
and now the IP 1.2.3.4 becomes
    h1-2-3-4.cg.shawcable.net or 1.2.3.4.ab.wave.home.com
I tried using the first in /etc/HOSTNAME (or thru linuxconf) but had
problems with postfix not sending mail out. So I used the second one
instead, restarted the network ('service network restart') and for inet.
This solved it for me. I think the first is just an alias for the second.

Thanks... Dan.
