All apologies in advance since this isn't (AFAIK) specifically a
Mandrake issue, but I figure others may have already experienced this.
Quite often Netscape will be pulling data off the Internet through my
ppp/modem connection and all of a sudden the data transfer seems to
freeze---neither the TX or RX lights on my kppp monitor are lit. I then
move the cursor and data starts flowing again. It seems to happen only
with Netscape (multiple versions, >= 4.73-7, both 56- and 128-bit
security IIRC). And I've experienced this with Mandrake 7.0 and 7.1
(kernel-2.2.16-9mdk), and with RedHat 6.0 and 6.1.
