I have been working on this for a while now, with no success. I did figure out the library weirdness I posted before - it seems that two of the files I downloaded of the FP extensions were funky. Anyway, my problem remains: if I create a virtual server named test.com, with a server alias of www.test.com, apache runs file. However, Frontpage only works right when addressing the site as test.com, not www.test.com. The same problem happens if the virtual server is defined as www.test.com - test.com doesn't work. Is there anyone here on the list who is running Mandrake 7.1 with name-based virtual hosts, who is successfully using FrontPage extensions? If so, please email me directly! So.. one of my questions is: what is the proper way to define a virtual host? Should it be www.test.com, or test.com? Is ServerAlias necessary? I'd really like to have my sites come up with just http://test.com instead of having to do the www prefix. The next question is: how do you make this work with FP?? HELP!!!
